The Blood Drive/Open House events held this summer and fall at each of our bases were well attended and very rewarding for Flight For Life crew and staff. Each site had a short program with Honor Guard personnel from local Fire/EMS Agencies posting the colors, short speeches by area government officials and Flight For Life representatives. The most compelling part of each program was when our former patients spoke about how they are doing and how their situation has affected their life. They are some very strong and highly motivated people whose stories touch the heart of all who hear them.
Flight For Life would like to thank everyone who came to our events to help us celebrate 25 years of service, and everyone who donated blood, and of course our patients who came and shared their stories. Special thanks to members of the Milwaukee, Dodge, Kenosha, McHenry and Lake County Honor Guards for your support of Flight For Life!
